- Within the framework of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes gained during undergraduate education, based on scientific principles and methods, takes preventive public health measures against health problems, dangers, and injuries caused by disasters and emergencies for individuals and society,
- Ensures the management of pre-hospital emergency health services, triage, emergency medical intervention, safe and appropriate transport, communication, and record-keeping processes.
- Plans and executes health services in disasters and emergencies,
- Manages the Command Control and Coordination Centers related to disasters and emergencies,
- Plans, monitors, and supervises the activities of units related to pre-hospital emergency and disaster health services,
- Plans, monitors, and supervises the practices carried out by other professionals working on issues related to emergencies and disasters,
- Plans, implements, and supervises the training related to the work of the personnel in the unit,
- Conducts training for individuals to be informed and protected against natural or human-made risks,
- Plans, monitors, and supervises the preparation of disaster and emergency plans,
- Plans, implements, and supervises the four phases of the integrated disaster management system,
- Plans, manages, and supervises the pre-hospital emergency health services.
