EMERGENCY-DISASTER SKILLS LABORATORY

The Emergency-Disaster Skills Laboratory provides an infrastructure focused specifically on health interventions during disasters and emergencies. The laboratory is equipped with health materials such as basic first aid supplies, emergency medical intervention kits, and trauma management equipment. Students develop the skills necessary for rapid and effective intervention in the field by working on scenarios close to real life in this laboratory. The practical training conducted in the laboratory focuses on critical skills such as casualty triage, bleeding control, airway opening, advanced life support, and intervention in traumatic injuries. This laboratory plays a critical role in training future emergency response teams by aiming to provide not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. This laboratory aims to increase the capacity for emergency intervention to be applied in disaster situations. Thanks to the experiences gained during the training process, students acquire the knowledge and equipment to perform rapid, effective, and organized health interventions in disasters and emergencies.
