Nursing Skills Laboratory

The Nursing Skills Laboratory within our Faculty's Nursing Department is aimed at providing students with practical training opportunities in a laboratory setting for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing course. The purpose of the Obstetrics Nursing Professional Skills Laboratory is to teach and develop students' nursing skills in the field of obstetrics through practical application. This laboratory aims to enable students to translate their theoretical knowledge into practice, enhance their psychomotor skills, and gain professional competence. Additionally, thanks to this laboratory experience, students will be able to transition to clinical environments more prepared, acquiring the necessary basic skills and confidence. The laboratories are equipped with birthing models (semi-simulation) and patient beds that offer the opportunity to work on these models. The laboratory also includes a newborn model, pelvis model, breast model, and birth stages model. At the same time, there are other small tools and consumables used in skills.
