15 OCTOBER WORLD HANDWASHING DAY “HANDWASHING TRAINING EVENT”

Under the guidance of Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Hanife ÜLGEN, who is on duty at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, Department of Child Health and Diseases Nursing, the “15 OCTOBER WORLD HANDWASHING DAY “HANDWASHING EDUCATION EVENT” was held. The event was prepared for the students of the 75th Year Republic Kindergarten. Within the scope of the School Health Nursing elective course, the importance of handwashing and the situations in which hands should be washed were explained to the students with materials and experiments prepared by the students taking the course under the coordination of the responsible course instructor. Later, the correct handwashing technique was first demonstrated practically by the students taking the course, and all kindergarten students were ensured to wash their hands with the correct method one by one. 

The event concluded with gifts given to kindergarten students, fun games, and a music recital. We would like to thank primarily the School Principal Mr. Celaleddin YAYLAGÜLÜ, our esteemed teachers, and school staff for their hospitality and support before, during, and after the event.
