Gerontology Department Academics Attended the 2nd International Festival of Health and Wellbeing in Aging

Academics from the Gerontology Department of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and students from MAKÜ 60+ Renewal University attended the 2nd International Festival of Health and Wellbeing in Aging.

Older individuals participating in various workshops organized as part of the festival had fun and enjoyable times while gaining new experiences. The workshops contributed to the festival taking place in a colorful environment by increasing participants' opportunities for learning and social interaction.

The festival, which also included students from Renewal University of different universities, offered participants the opportunity to meet, share their experiences, and establish new social connections. Students from MAKÜ 60+ Renewal University became part of a common learning and sharing environment by coming together with students from other universities in workshops and events.

This meeting, which took place with the participation of academics from the Gerontology Department and students from Renewal University, highlighted the importance of lifelong learning and the active participation of older individuals in social life.
