INFORMATION MEETING ON ERASMUS STUDY AND INTERNSHIP MOBILITY FOR GERONTOLOGY STUDENTS

An information meeting on Erasmus+ Program Student Mobility was organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University International Relations Coordination on April 29, 2026, for students of the Gerontology department. The event was conducted with the presentation titled “Erasmus+ Program Student Mobility: Study and Internship Activities” by Lecturer Hazal Elif Yıldız.

During the meeting, the application conditions, evaluation criteria, and points to be considered during the mobility process regarding students' study and internship processes abroad were discussed in detail. The presentation, which also touched upon the academic and personal development opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Program, was followed with interest by the students.

In the program, which continued interactively with a question-and-answer session, students had the opportunity to ask questions they were curious about regarding the application process, required documents, grant opportunities, language proficiency, and academic adaptation abroad. While the contributions of international experience to academic and personal development were discussed at the event, the importance of interacting with different cultures, improving foreign language skills, and gaining a global perspective was emphasized.
