2. Disaster and Firefighting Games

In Burdur, on 20-21 MAY 2024, a Disaster and Firefighting games competition took place in partnership with Burdur Municipality and MAKÜ. The competition was held at MAKÜ İstiklal Stadium on (21 May 2024 Tuesday). Students from the Emergency Aid and Disaster Management, Civil Defense, and Firefighting departments participated in the competition, fiercely competing and completing challenging courses. A total of 17 teams participated in the inter-university competition held across Turkey. Medals and certificates of achievement were presented to the top 5 teams in the finals by MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar and Burdur Mayor Ali Orkun Ercengiz, as well as university academicians and deputy mayors.
