Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Emergency Aid and Disaster Management (AYAY) Department Chairmanship supported and led by Dr. Lecturer Gülhan Şen, the 3rd Disaster Sciences Academy was successfully completed with the participation of academics and students from different universities.

The event was organized with the contributions of experts from Burdur MAKÜ as well as Adnan Menderes University (ADÜ), Süleyman Demirel University (SDÜ), and Dokuz Eylül University (DEÜ). In the academy, a total team of 36 people consisting of 10 trainers specialized in disaster management, 24 graduate students devoted to disaster sciences, and 2 assistant personnel took part.
